All Along Echoing Paths Lyrics

Onwards I tremble, onwards I crawl
My reason profound, the pain above all
Secluded from motion, detained to rot
Emerging from sacrifice
Giving all that I've gotThe strive of reaching higher
ANd hold on to what eventually falls
Is making sure that the spirit will crumble
Once the bloodstained curtains are droppedViolation of what I've kept inside
A nation of remedies all mineAll along echoing paths
The lights are gone
Strength in numbers
Will burn us all
The weight that's been covering our backs
Is now replaced
A place where our hearts will turn black
That's where we'll staySegregation of souls beneath the norms
Revelations and the oncoming storm
Abandoning pressure, abandoning reasons

Overcoming burden that drove us through lossOutcasts of heaven, beggars in black
Escaping the kingdoms of perpetual wrath
Needless to say I'm thorugh with you
My fallen angel, my fallen starThe strive of reaching higher
And hold on to what eventually falls
s making sure that the spirit will crumble
Once the bloodstained curtains are dropped
All along echoing paths
The lights are gone
Strength in numbers
Will burn us allThe weight that's been covering our backs
Is now replaced
A place where our hearts will turn black
That's where we'll stay(solo: Andersson)My creation, forever lost to wrath

Soilwork is a swedish melodic death metal band formed in late 1995, originally under the name Inferior Breed in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork to better fit their new sound. Their unique sound is a fusion of the classic gothenburg metal sound with power-groove riffs of late 1970s, early 1980s British, and European metal, but in their most recent albums they have also introduced elements from American alternative metal and adopted a more melodic attitude.
