All Hell For a Basement Lyrics

I'm a workin' man
But I ain't worked for a while
Like some old tin can
From the bottom of the pile
From the bottom of the pileI have lost my way
But I hear a tale
About a heaven in Alberta
Where they've got all hell for a basementMy words are like a rope
That's wrapped around my throat
Wash my mouth with soap
For words unfit to quoteI have lost my way
But I hear a tale
About a heaven in Alberta
Where they've got all hell for a basementI have lost my way
But I hear a tale
About a heaven in Alberta
Where they've got all hell for a basementAnd now I'm free to go
But time cannot remove

The only life I know
Now only time will prove
Yes, only time will proveIf I have lost my way
'Cause I hear a tale
About a heaven in Alberta
Where they've got all hell for a basementYeah, I lost my way
But I hear a tale
About a heaven in Alberta
Where they've got all hell for a basement

With its successful 2011 release of “Revolution Per Minute”, BIG SUGAR announced that they were not merely content to rest on their considerable laurels of past hits. Known for their innovative style that refuses to be easily labelled, as well as for their extraordinary live performances, which saw them close out last year with a full 40 city national tour, BIG SUGAR is back.
