All Is Fair Lyrics

Man is a beast
Came down from the trees
Crawling around
Spreads his diseaseUp on the rocks
Playing with fire
Inventing his needs
To quench the desireBlood on his hands
Love on his mind
Hell as a future
He's leaving Heaven way behindAll is fair in love and war
Kiss me you fool, it's love that we're all dying for
All is fair in love and war
Head for the hills, who knows what the fighting's for?
Man is a beastShame at the feast
There's too much to eat
Throw out the waste
At the beggar's bare feetAim for the moon
Shooting the stars

Insanity roaming the streets
But the sane drive new carsBlood on his hands
Love on his mind
Selling the future
And the debts are left behindAnd all is fair in love and war
Kiss me you fool, it's love that we're all dying for
All is fair in love and war
Head for the hills, who knows what all this fighting's for?
And man is a beastOpen the outer soul
Man is a beast
Down in a scorching hole
Still man is a beastUp on the rocks
There you reburn, yeah, yeah
Finching his needs
Oh, quench his desiresAll is fair in love and war
Kiss me you fool, it's love that we're all dying for
All is fair in love and war
Time and patience always finds the open door
All is fair in love and war
Head for the hills, who knows what all this fighting's for?Man is a beast
Man is a beast

The Fixx is a British new wave band formed in 1980. The group was formed by college friends Cy Curnin (vocals) and Adam Woods (drums). The pair placed an ad for additional members. Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards) and Charlie Barret (bass) joined the band as a result. Barret left after the first album and was replaced by Dan K. Brown. They are perhaps best remembered for their song "One Thing Leads To Another", from their most successful album, the 1983 Reach The Beach. Other hits include, "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Saved by Zero" and "Are We Ourselves?".
