All Roads Lead to Jamaica Lyrics

Pack up your bags and hit the road
Get rid of all the shit you own
All you'll need is yourself and a pair of dirty boots
You'd better plan to useFollow the footprints in your hand
And they'll lead you places you never planned
Just keep your head in the clouds and your feet even higher
Someday soon you're going to slip on time
And find what you desireCause all roads lead to Jamaica, I'm telling you
All roads lead to Jamaica
All roads lead to the sugar in the sand
So come on let's jump in
Let's go find JamaicaWell all of the rules you think that you know
I'm telling you to throw them away
Make your own
Cause everyone could be happy if they thought they could
Instead of thought they shouldCause all roads lead to Jamaica, I'm telling you
All roads lead to Jamaica
All roads lead to the sugar in the sand

So come on let's jump inOh I'm telling you
Life is more like a flash in your eye then the sun in the sky
So let's go find Jamaica
Let's go find Jamaica
Oh I'm telling you lets hit the road tonight
Let's go find Jamaica

“Before I could talk, some part of me must have known I wanted to sing,” Sales says. “Apparently, when I was a baby, I’d raise my finger and if someone in my family didn’t start singing, I would burst into an irreversible temper-tantrum…I try not to do that anymore,” she adds with a laugh. Sales was born into an incredibly artistic family; her mother being a dancer and writer, her father a musician and sound engineer (Miles Davis, The Grateful Dead and The Ramones), who operated GlassWing Studios out of the basement of their Washington D.
