All So Good Lyrics

Thinking things over
What a crazy ride
You have blown my expectations
You are so very aliveLiving in a time and a place
In the middle of the plans You made
As crazy as it truly seems
You far exceed my wildest dreamsI've got no room to complain
There's never any roomIt's all so good, carry me away
It's all so good, daily You amaze me
The things that You do I will always be in awe of You
Yeah, I will always beThinking things over
You really make me smile
You are more than a distant father figure
You are the unpredictable GodThere is so much more now
There is so much more now
You'll show us all if we let You
You'll far exceed our wildest dreamsGot no room to complain
There's never any roomIt's all so good, carry me away

It's all so good, daily You amaze me
The things that You do I will always be in awe of You
Yeah, I will always beWe all come into the world with nothing
We're all gonna leave the same way
Everything is a gift from You
Without faith, hope, love it's a fool's parade
We all come into the world with nothing
We're all gonna leave the sameAin't got no reason to complain
No, no, no, noIt's all so good, carry me away
It's all so good, daily You amaze me
The things that You do I will always be in awe of You
Yeah, I will always beIt's all so good, carry me away
It's all so good, daily You amaze me

Phil was born in Auckland, New Zealand and was adopted at birth. He left school to become a hairdresser. In his free time, he was lead singer and guitarist in the band Drinkwater. Though he had little experience with the instrument, Newsboys offered him a position as bassist in 1995. He said at the time, "I already know how to play a guitar with six strings, four should be a cinch.
