All You Need To Know (feat. Michael Kiske) Lyrics

I came from the sky on the coldest day
They tough me to speak and to walk and obey
Injected their will into my simple kind
Forever to be in control of my mindLet me out, let me out and walk away
Let me live on the run
Let me out, let me out, don't make me stay
For my kingdom to comeI'm the one with no name
And I won't play your game
I'm no light in the dark
And no saviorLet my powers unfold
And before I get cold
Let me die as a rebel
Or live as a free man at lastI seek no forgiveness for taking my turn
I don't beg your pardon, it's time that you learn
That I'm non-conform and I hate the norm
And I wish your world away, I'm falling to pieces sometimeI'm the one with no name
And I won't play your game
I'm no light in the dark

And no saviorLet my powers unfold
And before I get cold
Let me die as a rebel
Or live as a free man at lastI'm the one with no name
And I won't play your game
I'm no light in the dark
And no saviorLet my powers unfold
And before I get cold
Let me die as a rebel
Or live as a free man at lastFree at last

Founded in 1989 by Kai Hansen in Hamburg, Germany after leaving Helloween, Gamma Ray borrowed straight from the Helloween classics, and continued to pioneer Hansen's style of power metal. After four years with Helloween, Kai Hansen decided to leave the band at the height of their career. He then went on to do some studio work with Blind Guardian. Kai and his friend Ralf Scheepers from Tyran' Pace decided to start a project. They recruited bassist Uwe Wessel and drummer Mathias Burchard. The resulting sound was very close to Helloween's power metal style.
