All the Way Under the Hill Lyrics

You always said I'd never make it
With your cold bitter heart
You would knock me down to nothing
And tear me apart
You wouldn't know it
Cus' you're gone now
But I found the will
To make it all the way under the hillNo more hurtin' or cryin'
Those days are gone
I finaly found deep inside me
The way to move on
And I hope that I left you
With a bad guilty chill
Now that I'm all the way under the hill
You must admit it
Now that I made it
It's much harder to sleep
All my hopes and my dreams

That you once threw away
But on sundays you don't visit
And you never will
And I'm all the way under the hill
I made it all the way under the hill

Sleep Beneath the Willow may have just solidified Daniel Romano as a class-act songwriter, musician, and producer. The album follows on the heels of his "folk you" criticism of the music business in Working for the Music Man. It can also be seen as a huge departure from his previous gig as a member of the Canadian rock band, Attack in Black, but, in all actuality, it has been a natural and easy transition.
