Almighty Silence Lyrics

Silence creeps over me slowly like winter
A thorn in my flesh, a divine wound, a splinter
I still love You so, night and day
I sometimes just have nothing to saySorrow falls on me like evening
But I believe tomorrow I will wake rejoicing
For You will wipe my tears awayI long for the stillness of God, heavenly silence
But I don't know what to do with myself when I find it
Should I fill the space with my voice
Or should I close my mouth and rejoice?Sorrow falls on me like evening
But I believe tomorrow I will wake rejoicing
For You will wipe my tears awayNight and day and every season
Day or night, You owe me no reasons
Day or night, help me to sing
Thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord, thank You, yeah
Yeah, thank You, Lord, LordI still love You so, night and day
I sometimes just have nothing to say, ohSorrow falls on me like evening
But I believe tomorrow I will wake rejoicing
For You will wipe my tears awayI believe it, yeah

You will wipe my tears away
I believe itI will wake rejoicing
For You will wipe my tears away

Tree63 is a Christian rock band from Durban, South Africa formed in 1996 currently featuring John Ellis on vocals, guitar and piano, Darryl Swart on drums and Daniel Ornellas on bass guitar. Originally, the band was unnamed. John Ellis, the group's founder, came up with the name Tree in 1997 when performing at North Beach, Durban. The band had to come up with a name before performing on stage. The singer, John Ellis, was standing under a tree, so decided to call the band Tree. They added the 63 in 2000 due to a naming conflict with an American band.
