Alone Without You Lyrics

I listened to your album and I watched your favorite film
Hey, hey, hey, I missed you today
I read those early letters that were filmed with early dreams
Some of them materialized, others never seen
We used to watch the world walkin' byThe truth is you're not here, here I am
I'm screwed up again
No matter what, which way I turn
How my feeling's slowly bleeding here for you
I'm spending time with hope and I don't know why it is
It's just the way it isWhat am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?
What am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?I made your favorite dinner and I wore the shirt you love
Hey, hey, hey, just in case you came
Friends still ask about you, when I say that you're just fine
And have you seen the world walking byThe truth is you're not here, here I am
I'm screwed up again
No matter what which way I turn

How my feelings slowly bleeding here for you
I'm spending time with hope, and I don't know why it is
It's just the way it isWhat am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?
What am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?The truth is you're not here and I'm screwed up again
And I don't know the reason why, I don't know why it is
And did I ever say, I just need your love
I want you back again, I want you back againYou said that this isn't yet our time
So give me time to get you back againWhat am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?
What am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you? It's for you that I fall out of bed in the morning
Still checking the mail as I'm leaving
I sit in the car without driving
I want you back againWhat am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?
What am I to say? What am I to do?
What am I alone without you?

After Take That split, Owen became the third of the band's ex-members to release a solo record. He reached number three in the UK Singles Chart with his debut single, Child. His second single, Clementine, also went to number three. In 1997 his album Green Man was released, charting at a number 33. After another single, I Am What I Am, charted at number 29, Owen was dropped by BMG Records in late 1997.

In 2002 Mark won the second series of Celebrity Big Brother. After being invited to perform on stage with Robbie Williams at Knebworth, he returned to the spotlight and signed a deal with Island/Universal Records. In August 2003, Owen returned to the charts with the Top 5 hit, Four Minute Warning, which remained in the Top 40 for eight weeks. His second album, In Your Own Time, was released in November 2003, entering the charts at number 59.
