Alvarez Lyrics

The stars will be your night lights tonight
And I will be your lullabyThey dragged it up
And I continued with the beatings
And how you bleed
Oh yes, you could bleed foreverAnd it burns and leaves the rope tied tonight
Ooh, it burns and leaves the rope tiedThe stars will be your night lights tonight
And I will be your lullabyAnother finger lost
What use do you have for those eyes in your head
You took and killed
Everything about meOoh, it burns and leaves the rope tied tonight
Ooh, it burns and leaves the rope tiedThe stars will be your night lights tonight
And I will be your lullaby
When the stars will be your night lights tonight
And I will be your lullaby, so goodnightWe're so disgusted with it
And you took your sweet time
So let's get out of this town
So let's get out of this townSo disgusted with it
And you took your sweet time

So let's get out of this town
So let's get out of this town
And start this day all over and all over againJust like the good old days
You wipe the stains from off of your face
Just forget her and just forget her and
Just like the good old days
You wipe the stains from off of your face
And forget her and just forget herThe best liar I heard all day
You're too much of a good thing
Too much of a good thing

Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet called January Thirst. This did not last long, and in 2002 Funeral for a Friend recorded their debut EP Between Order and Model with their original 6-piece line up. After having been together for just a few months, the band changed their line up and subsequently signed a deal with Warner Brothers records for whom they recorded their second EP Four Ways To Scream Your Name.
