American Veins (Acoustic Version) Lyrics

Shake, shake, wake me up at daybreak, get me out the door
I love this place but if I leave here I will love it more
Cause I have felt the wheels inside my head
Quit their spinnging as if mobile livings gone to bedGet it back, get it back,
I have felt that feeling, I want that feeling back
Get it back, get it back,
I have felt that feeling, I want that feeling backCause I'm the blood running through the web
of the highways and the roads, that we call american veinsShake, shake, wake me up when you can't drive another mile
Sunset city limets, set your sights on something wild
Cause I can feel the wheels inside my head
Start their spinning I am blacktop living once againGet it back, get it back,
I have felt that feeling, I want that feeling back
Get it back, get it back,
I have felt that feeling, I want that feeling backCause I'm the blood running through the web
of the highways and the roads, that we call american veins
The blood running through the web of the highways
and the roads, that we call american veinsThese roads are like, these roads are like veins
They're calling out, they're calling out my name

Home has run it's course, now it just ain't the same
I need a highway to heal my painCause I'm blood running, american veins
The blood running through the web of the highways
that we call american veins, american veins, american veinsThat we call american veins
