Amy's Friend Lyrics

Amy can you blame me for asking you
more about your man in his sharkskin boots
Stay in your hotel room and not his place
pretend the mascara's not running down your faceif you stare
if you stare into the sun for too long
you could believe you could have been someone
for anyone all along
if you read your leaves from just the right angle
you could make believe
love can't be wrongAmy can you paint me a portrait of love
can you tell a story with creatures made of
goodness and affection, compromise
instead of superstition doubt and liesif you stare
if you stare into the sun for too long
you could believe you could have been someone
for anyone all along
if you read your leaves from just the right angle
you could make believe

love can't be wrongAmy
what's right for you
is right for
Amy
what's right for you
is right you seeAmy can you play me a song I don't know
Fill it with your voice so soft and low
I can listen with my ear against the floor
float upon the waves and washed to shoreif you stare
if you stare into the sun for too long
you could believe you could have been someone
for anyone all along
if you read your leaves from just the right angle
you could make believe
love can't be wrongif you stare
if you stare into the sun for too long
you could believe you could have been someone
for anyone all along
if you read your leaves from just the right angle
you could make believe
love can't be wrong

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Bombadil is a contemporary folk-pop band from North Carolina. The members of Bombadil have been playing music together since 2006. The group is composed of four mild-manner gentlemen who agree on everything except how to make music. Bombadil went into suspended animation in 2009 after an injury forced the band to stop touring indefinitely. In 2011, the band reformed, and has been active ever since. The sound is steeped in folk and possesses an almost classical air in its arrangements.
