An Indie Rock Daydream Lyrics

Rock and roll Saturday night people watching me play
but we're playing at the YMCA
we've danced on stages from Spain to Tokyo
and we've slept on the floors of the worldthese are the days that I will remember
these are the days that I will remember
the wide eyed moments of an indie rock daydream
soon enough, this'll all be gonePretty girl smiling at me, I'm smiling myself
but she's leaving with somebody else
I don't care if things never change
cause at this point success would seem strangethese are the days that I will remember
these are the days that I will remember
the wide eyed moments of an indie rock daydream
soon enough, this'll all be gone

Sicko was a three piece pop punk band from Seattle, Washington. After releasing several albums on Empty Records they disbanded in 1998. Many of their short catchy songs dealt with geekier topics like computers, Carl Sagan, old Japanese cartoons or the life of the "Dateless Loser". The cd "A Brief History of Sicko" was released on Mutant Pop and contains a total of 18 previously unearthed tracks, including a couple outstanding covers of R.E.M.
