An Open Letter To the Lyrical Trainspotter Lyrics

I'm writing these words like the fool that I amTrying to say something
good like the person (I am)But it's all just a sham 'cos the writer I am
notCould say anything, you'd believe themJust your A-typical
Boy-girl-girl-boy androgynousPlay on a publican's decoy'Cos I had to
drop out 'cos the Art School was sad andIf you believe all of that
you're a bigger fool than me The lyrics aren't supposed to mean that
muchThey're just a vehicle for a lovely voiceThey aren't supposed to
mean that much Lyrics mean nothing, don't right any wrongsIn fact I'm
not having them on thisYou say they mean nothing just gobbledy-gookBut
just look at yourself you're not clever enoughUnderstanding the truth,
you are so out of touchYou believe all of this, you can't see it's a
spoofUnderstand all the words when they don't even rhymeAnd I'm losing
the rhythm and the whole thing's getting wierder and wierder The lyrics
aren't supposed to mean that muchThey're just a vehicle for a lovely
voiceThey aren't supposed to mean that much The lyrics aren't supposed
to mean that muchThey're just a vehicle for a lovely voiceThey aren't
supposed to mean that much They all believe meIt's all so easy now The
lyrics aren't supposed to mean that muchThey're just a vehicle for a

lovely voiceThey aren't supposed to mean that much The lyrics aren't
supposed to mean that muchThey're just a vehicle for a lovely voiceThey
aren't supposed to mean that much

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Mansun were formed in Chester in 1995 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Paul Draper, lead guitarist/ backing vocalist Dominic Chad, bassist Stove King and drummer Andie Rathbone. Arriving on the Britpop-dominated scene as a beat-driven art rock band, Mansun liberally mixed progressive rock, psychedelia, art pop, shoegaze, 80's noir and electronic elements; instead of singles releasing numerous multi-format EPs bookended by concept albums, often changing their style (and peculiar uniforms) each release.
