Anesthetic Lyrics

Your place or mine?
My reflection in the window multiplied
Conveniently misplacing
The steps that I've been taking
Carefully curating
A lifeIs the bed half empty or half full?
Not that I should apologize
If it weren't my own life
I've got the piece of mind to die alone
For some fate I can make my own
Never up to date
You see some things never change
Not for lack of aiming
Fundamentals never swaying
But doubt shoots down the reasons in my wayIs the bed half empty or half full?
Not that I should apologize
If it weren't my own life
I've got the piece of mind to die alone

For some fate I can make my own
So, my place or mine?
So, my place or mine?
So, my place or mine?
(Conveniently replacing)
(The steps that I've been taking)
So, my place or mine?
(Conveniently replacing)
(The steps that I've been taking)

On Thursday, September 27th 2007, Evan Thomas Weiss turned 23. He noticed that his last few years had gone by rather quickly. To combat (or encourage..?) this movement in his life, he wrote and recorded one song every week of his 24th year--roughly 52 songs. He spent many years writing, recording and touring in bands. The Progress, Damiera, and Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start are a few (among many others).
