Another Day Lyrics

There's never a good time to find the words to say
But the last thing you and I need together is another day
So before we hurt anymore, I'll be on my way
'Cus the last thing you and I need together is another dayAnother day, to tell us what we've known
To sow the seeds we've sown
Would it make a difference
Another day, to try and right the wrongs
When we've known all along
We can't make up the distance
Honey, we'll never know what's in store
If all we're living for is another day
Living lies knowing all of the time, you were not the one
Trying to force a love with a stranger, when we should have run
So many hours in silence, nothing to talk about
Both looking for an easy way to say: I just want outAnother day, to tell us what we've known
To sow the seeds we've sown
Would it make a difference
Another day, to try and right the wrongs

When we've known all along
We can't make up the distance
Darling, we'll never know what's in store
If all we're living for is another dayOooh, another dayI'm trying to sleep in a bed of lies, tired of having to compromise
Instead I'm trying to be a perfect man,
I should be running as fast as I can
But I'm sitting here paralysed, holding on to just another day
to tell us what we've known
To sow the seeds we've sown
Would it make a difference?
Another day, to try and right the wrongs
When we've known all along
We can't make up the distance
Darling, we'll never know what's in store
If all we're living for is another dayOh, now, we'll never know what's in store
If all we're living for is another day

Marc Broussard (born January 14, 1982) is an American singer and songwriter. The Louisiana native released his first major album (with Island Def Jam Records) on August 3, 2004. The album's title Carencro pays tribute to the musician's hometown of Carencro, Louisiana. His style is best described as "Bayou Soul," a mix of funk, blues, R&B, rock, and pop, matched with distinct Southern roots.

Marc is best known for the songs "Where You Are" and "Home." Broussard previously released several independent efforts, including 2002's Momentary Setback which spawned the hit "The Wanderer", a song about self discovery. A re-worked version of the song appears on Carencro. As of July 2005, "Home" was released as a single.

Although Broussard is rather unknown, he is characteristically known and critically praised for his strong vocals. However, he has garnered an uptick in popularity thanks to a snappy tune "Must Be The Water" which is featured in television commercials on TNT for the 2008 NBA All-Star game held in New Orleans.
