Another Dead End (For Another Dead Man) Lyrics

Tie yourself to the devil
They kiss away your life
What were your impressions?
They'll blow your mindIt's time to cleave up your worst enemy
And see how bad they bleed
Trapped in your own cage
Sliced from humanityHow does it feel
To be locked up in your own free world?
Trapped in the shell
Another dead end for another dead man
Four walls are closing in
You're screaming but you can't be heard
You better believe it
Another dead end for another dead manOh! Strike back with your angerYou'll face against the wall
Just another day
Been watching over you
What you wanted to seeYou all the years
But you can't feel the difference

Your futures assigned
You're now part of the systemHow does it feel
To be locked up in your own free world?
Trapped in the shell
Another dead end for another dead man
Four walls are closing in
You're screaming but you can't be heard
You better believe it
Another dead end for another dead manUse your anger
Reap revenge
Use your anger
Don't turn away, aaaHow does it feel
To be locked up in your own free world?
Trapped in the shell
Another dead end for another dead man
Four walls are closing in
You're screaming but you can't be heard
You better believe it
Another dead end for another dead manHow does it feel
To be locked up in your own free world?
Trapped in the shell
Another dead end for another dead man
Four walls are closing in
You're screaming but you can't be heard
You better believe it
Another dead end for another dead man

The Swedish death metal band Hypocrisy was formed by Peter Tägtgren in 1990 upon his return to Sweden from Florida, where he had been inspired by that state's flourishing death metal scene (bands like Morbid Angel, Deicide, Death and Obituary). Hypocrisy's first demo was recorded entirely by Tägtgren himself; once it secured him a record deal, he recruited a lineup of Masse Broberg (Vocals), Jonas Österberg (Guitar), Mikael Hedlund (Bass) and Lars Szöke (Drums), while he himself settled on guitar.
