Another Mile Lyrics

I was sittin' at the station
Waiting for a sign
It was closed for renovation
You smiled as you walked byYou were a long time in coming
I've waited quite a while
Here we are rollin'
And we've gone another mileAnother mile, one more mile
We can make it down this road girl you and I
Love grows strong just hold on
And you'll find that we've gone another mileThis world moves in circles
Never one straight line
It keeps us all from seeing
What lies ahead to findBut I know when I get home
You're the reason why
I had to keep on goin'
Till I'd gone another mileAnother mile, one more mile
We can make it down this road girl you and I
Love grows strong just hold on

And you'll find that we've gone another mileAnother mile, one more mile
We can make it down this road girl you and I
Love grows strong just hold on
And you'll find that we've gone another mileAnd you'll find that we've gone
Yes, you'll find that we've gone
Another mile

Sawyer Brown is a country music band formed in 1981 at a Pizza Hut restaurant in Apopka, Florida. Lead singer Mark Miller asked keyboardist Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard to play piano for a couple of songs he had written. The two left for Nashville, Tennessee, where they met up with Florida drummer Joe Smyth, Michigan bass player Jim Scholten and original lead guitarist Bobby Randall. They first called the band "Savanah", but renamed themselves "Sawyer Brown" after Sawyer Brown Road, the street where they rehearsed.
