Another Nice Day in L.A. Lyrics

Car phone's ringing on the one-on-one
I've been sitting here for hours in the burning sun
What a day down in L.A.Hollywood girls on the boulevard
Tight pants rockers trying to make a start
She jumped right in, she said, "I know who you are"I say, "Hey!" (Hey!)
It's another nice day
Another nice day in L.A.
It's okay (Hey!)
It's a beautiful day
Another nice day in L.A.Friday, you were cruising in a limousine
You got no money, you just wanna be seen looking good
Oh, like you shouldWhen I woke up this morning, there was smoke in my eyes
I saw beggars and millionaires standing outside
They were looking for love, but nobody's got the time No, nobodyI say, "Hey!" (Hey!)
It's another nice day
Another nice day in L.A.
It's okay (Hey!)
It's a beautiful day

Another nice day in L.A.Well, look at me, I'm on the beach, just a-lying in the sand
And look at her - such a shapely thing
A swimsuit smaller than a diamond ringI'd love to have a mansion and a brand new car
Beverly Hills, like a movie star
I could get to the top, but I don't wanna work that hardI said, "Hey!" (Hey!)
It's another nice day
Another nice day in L.A.
I said, "Hey!" (Hey!)
It's a beautiful day
A beautiful, beautiful dayI said, (Hey!)
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)
It's another nice day
Another nice day in L.A.
I said, (Hey!)
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)
A beautiful, beautiful dayI said, (Hey!)
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)
It's another nice day
Another nice day in L.A.
Hey, hey, hey (Hey!)
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)
It's another nice day
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)
Only in L.A.I said, (Hey!)
(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na)

Eddie Money (born Edward Joseph Mahoney, March 2, 1949 in New York City, United States) is an American rock singer-songwriter who found success in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of Top 40 hits and platinum albums. Rock impresario Bill Graham said of Money "Eddie Money has it all...Not only can he sing, write and play, but he is a natural performer." After becoming a police officer, like his father, during the late 1960s, Money began to be interested in music, and eventually ended his law enforcement career in favor of becoming a musician.
