Anouska (I Want To Come Home) Lyrics

Moments come, moments go
There is nothing else
I will hide in this lifetime of ignoranceNouska-anouska I want to come home
Nouska-anouska I feel so aloneVoice of God comforts some
When a love dissolves
Voice of God comforts none
When a child's stillbornNouska-anouska I want to come home
Nouska-anouska I feel so aloneI recall a thousand english hands
They were praying for an avalancheNouska-anouska I've been so alone
Nouska-anouska I want to come homeI belong to where the angels die
Long before they even learn to fly
I recall a hundred summer days
Summer girls I knew would never stay
I belong to where the angels die
Long before they even learn to flyNouska-anouska I want to come home
Nouska-anouska I feel so alone

Born in Ireland in 1970. Perry Blake released his eponymous debut album in 1998. It was to establish him as a massive cult artist across Europe. Critical reaction in the UK was also raptutous, with magazines like "Q" and "Uncut" shouting his praises from the rooftops. BBC Radio, Jo Wiley made his first two releases her singles of the week. Neatly described as one of the world's best-kept secrets, Blake has released five studio albums, a sountrack to french movie "Presque Rien" and a live album recorded with an orchestra at Cirque Royale in Brussels.
