Apples & Oranges Lyrics

Paint a pound, mix the green with red
Hum some notes, get it out of your head
Draw a line so you can ignore it
Have a jam, have it with all the bitsHit a key, there are plenty there
Get out the plasticine and shape your hairHere is the apples and the oranges and plums
The dandelions in the sun
The salt and sugar and the raisin and the rum
And still there's room for everyoneSome design, do the gardening
In the bedroom, dance, in the shower, sing
Cook a meal, have an appetite
And don't forget you can ride a bikePull a shape, there are plenty there
Step out of line and off that chairHere is the apples and the oranges and plums
The dandelions in the sun
The salt and sugar and the raisin and the rum
And still there's room for everyoneHere is the apples and the oranges and plums
The dandelions in the sun
The salt and sugar and the raisin and the rum
And still there's room for everyoneHit a key, there are plenty there

Get out the plasticine and shape your hairHere is the apples and the oranges and plums
The dandelions in the sun
The salt and sugar and the raisin and the rum
And still there's room for everyoneHere is the apples and the oranges and plums
The dandelions in the sun
The salt and sugar and the raisin and the rum
And still there's room for everyone
