There are (at least) three different artists and bands under the name Emoticon: 1) A rock band from Aurora, IL made up of members all under the age of 17. They have had no lineup changes since their formation in 2008. The band features members with various musical backgrounds including jazz, metal, classical music, marching band, and modern and classical rock. They are set to release their first official demo on January 3rd, 2010, and have shared the stage with rock outfits Danger is My Middle Name, Freshman 15, and My Lady Four.
