Arlington Arms Lyrics

I watch the walls fall down on Suburbia
Land of the free, home of the self-enslaved
On you, on you, on you, on youI watched them bleed, I watched them fall to their face
I watched them scream as they pray for a taste
Of you, of you
(Watching the walls fall down)
Of you, of you
(Watching the walls fall down)I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream
I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream
I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream
I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dreamSo let us grieve at the fall of Suburbia
The dreams we've made are shoved in the face
Of you, of you, of you, of youSo get a taste of what was meant to be
Fall in the waste of what was meant to be
For you, for you
(Watching the walls fall down)
For you, for you
(Watching the walls fall down)I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream

I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream
I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dream
I won't fall on the knife that killed the American dreamWatching the walls fall down
Watching the walls fall down
Watching the walls fall downI watch the walls fall down on Suburbia
Land of the free, home of the self-enslaved
On you, on you, on you, on youI watched them bleed, I watched them fall to their face
I watched them scream as they pray for a taste
Of you, of you
(Watching the walls fall down)
Of you, of you
(Watching the walls fall down)
Of youWatching the walls fall down
Watching the walls fall down
Watching the walls fall down
Watching the walls fall down

Dead Poetic was a rock band hailing from Dayton, Ohio. The band first garnered attention in the underground music scene following the release of their first full-length Four Wall Blackmail which was released by Tooth & Nail subsidiary Solid State Records, and single "August Winterman." In the fall of 2004 personal disagreements within the band caused bassist Chad Shellabarger, drummer Josh Shellabarger, and guitarist Todd Osborn to all depart the band, and Dead Poetic appeared to be a thing of the past.
