Arrows To The Action Lyrics

And the day was dangerous to everyone
Well they're not surprised
It's just begunAnd the way that flat-top bitch was having fun
These were aching waves
Your covered oneWe are always over-anxious
There to thank us
Far over me now
We are arrows to the action
Never happens the way I think it shouldAnd the sun was burning blisters in my back
Their permanence we couldn't askIt was done floating weightless on attack
I was sinking slow could not relaxWe are always over-anxious
There to thank us
Far over me now
We are arrows to the action
Never happens the way I think it shouldThrough the brush and pine trees
And the rushing hands freeze
When I realized they're mine
And the water tears us

From the sunlit terrace
We're descending by designI'm amazed how perfectly we match decay
We're getting lost we're not the wayAnd the day was dangerous to everyone
We were not surprised
It had just begunWe are always over-anxious
There to thank us
Far over me now
We are arrows to the action
Never happens the way I think it should

Knapsack was an emo/indie rock band that was formed in 1993 by Blair Shehan (vocals/guitar) and Colby Mancasola (drums). Shehan and Mansacola were two high school friends studying at the University of California, Davis. Guitarist Jason Bokros and bassist Rod Meyer completed the lineup. By 1994, the band had recorded a single for independent label Goldenrod Records and signed with Alias Records later that year. Their debut album Silver Sweepstakes was released in 1995. They then toured extensively playing with bands such as Pavement, Rocket from the Crypt, Jawbox and Drive Like Jehu.
