As If You Didn't Know Lyrics

Every time we're alone like this
There's so much I wanna say
But we both know what we're feeling
Words just get in the wayBut tonight I wanna hold you
And tell you I still love you so
It feels so good to say the words again
As if you didn't knowYou were there to reach out and rescue me
When I was sinking helplessly
And nobody else believedYou were there to help me rise above
With your warm and tender love
You never once gave up and I love you so
As if you didn't knowNow there's one thing you can be sure of
You'll never be alone
I'll always be here for you
As if you didn't knowCause you were there to reach out and rescue me
When I was sinking helplessly
And nobody else believedAnd you were there to help me rise above
With your warm and tender love

You never once gave up and I love you so
As if you didn't know, as if you didn't know
As if you didn't know, as if you didn't know
As if you didn't know

Graham Brown (born Oct. 30, 1954) became a major presence on country radio in the mid '80s, scoring nine consecutive top 10 hits between 1985 and 1989, including the No. 1 singles "Hell and High Water," "Don't Go To Strangers" and "Darlene." Personal problems kept him out of the spotlight for the next few years, but he returned to the charts in 1998 with the autobiographical "Wine Into Water."
