Astronomy Lyrics

Lying on a field of grass
Watching as the clouds go past
Emptying the hourglass of time
High above the atmosphere
Watch the satellites draw near
Then they ricochet and ...awayAnd I don't know why
I don't know why
You were close to me and then
Gravity would pull you in
Until there's no escape from where we lie
Cork and charr are our 2 friends
With no beginning and no end
...over but I see them in the sky
And I don't know why
I don't know why
In our astronomy
Scattered and strange
In our astronomy

Far out of rangeYou were close to me and then
Gravity would pull you in
Until there's no escape from where we lie
And I don't know why
I don't know why
And I don't know why
I don't know why.
