Tearing down the own musical borders is most probably the only consistent thread in the history of this experimental indie rock band from Germany. Whilst the previous year’s fresh and catchy album Interference” mainly focuses on songs, the sound of the new concept album “Cthulhu” is exactly the opposite. “7 Days Awake” is about the balance between creation and destruction of structures. The tracks are catchy-atmospheric or intensively brute, and at the same time always a bit weird, startling and filled with deep love for extended instrumental parts.
