Autumn Lyrics

You could search the whole world over
But you'll never find
A girl so easy to fall in love with
But so hard to get off your mindI knew the first day that I saw her
I'd soon be living my life for herAutumn
(Autumn)
Autumn
(Autumn)
How your name
Has touched my heartAutumn
(Stay beside me)
Autumn
(Close beside me)
Say we'll never partShe's so completely different
From other girls I have known
She does the things you'd expect her to do
But in a way that's all her ownYou don't know what she does to me
When she's makin' love to meAutumn

(Autumn)
Autumn
(Autumn)
How your name
Has touched my heartAutumn
(Stay beside me)
Autumn
(Close beside me)
Say we'll never partI thought I had life down pat
Love 'em, leave 'em and be on my way
(Love 'em, leave 'em)
But girl, since you gave your love to me
In your arms is where I'll stayAutumn
(Autumn)
Autumn
(Autumn)
How your name
Has touched my heartAutumn
(Stay beside me)
Autumn
(Close beside me)
Say we'll never partAutumn
(Autumn)
Autumn
(Autumn)
How your name
Has touched my heartAutumn
(Stay beside me)
Autumn
(Close beside me)
Say we'll never partAutumn
(Autumn)
Autumn
(Autumn)
How your name
Has touched my heartAutumn
(Stay beside me)
Autumn

Gary Lewis and the Playboys were a 1960s pop group, fronted by Gary Lewis, son of comedian Jerry Lewis.
The group auditioned for a job at Disneyland, supposedly without telling Disneyland employees about Lewis' celebrity father. They were hired on the spot, audiences at Disneyland quickly accepted them, and the Playboys were soon playing to a full house every night. Band leader Les Brown had known Jerry Lewis for years, and he told record producer Snuff Garrett that the younger Lewis was playing at Disneyland.
