Away Away Lyrics

Look a little bit closer
Look a little bit closer at me now
Look how much I've changed
And threw all my bad habits awayPosition changed I'm ready for the next round
Away away away
You took my breath away
Just to spit it outI promise you won't regret
Won't regret that you took me back this time
(Whoa whoa whoa whoa)
'Cause things are moving so fast
I don't think this'll last the rest of our livesPosition changed I'm ready for the next round!
Away away away
I took your breath away
Just to spit it outAway away away
The time will take away all your hopes and doubtsHey now, look out
Well these things will happen for a reason
Hey now, look out
Something's got to break now

Hey now, look out (Whoa oh whoa)Hey now, look away away away
I take your breath away
Just to spit it out, out, out, out, out!
(yeah)Away away away
I took your breath away
Just to spit it out
Whoa oh whoa (spit it out!)Away away away
I took your breath away
Just to spit it outLet's go!Away away away
Look a little bit closer
Look a little bit closer at me now

Push Play is a pop-punk band signed to Wind-Up records and residing in Long Island, NY. The band consists of CJ, 20 (vocals and rhythm guitar), Steve, 19 (guitar, piano, and backup vocals), Nick, 20 (bass), and Derek, 20 (drums). CJ and Nick formed their first band, Kaution, when they were in middle school. Though that band was unsuccessful, Nick and CJ decided a few years later in 2007 that they wanted to be in a band again. Their producer found Steve and Derek to join them and form Push Play. They clicked immediately and began writing songs and rehearsing. Since then, the band has been extremely well received and has a large fanbase, with fans from not only all over the US, but in Europe, South America, and Asia. The band opened for Miley Cyrus, and has played alongside Metro Station, Flyleaf, and Sara Barellies at the 2008 Zootopia Pre-Show. Push Play has played in major venues like the Nokia Theater in Times Square (they were the first unsigned band to play there), Irving Plaza, and the Gramercy Theater. In 2008, they signed with Jim Morey, Miley Cyrus’ manager, and have since starred on such shows as TRL and Mike & Juliet in the Morning, and performed in the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. With an extremely unique sound and great stage presence, this band has a great future ahead of them. Unfortunately they broke up in late 2010.
