There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Emilio, who also records and performs under his full name, Emilio Navaira, is a cross-over success story from San Antonio Texas, with hits on the country charts as well as on the latin charts with his straight-shooting country-esque brand of tejano music. Emilio had a string of big successes in the tejano market in the early 1990s, and by the mid 1990s, was racking up shelves of awards.
