Awaz - Awaz

The band was formed in the early 90's, however in 2000 they group split due to conflicts and went their separate ways. All of three members started their own careers.

Haroon and Faakhir started their solo career's while Asad Ahmad (Guitarist) made his own rock band "Karavan" with his friend Sameer Ahmad. After they officially announced that Awaz is no more, the whole youth of Pakistan was shocked to hear the news.

Awaz was one of the famous Pop/Rock bands in Pakistan in early 90's. Awaz had a huge fan following, and they had many hit songs to their credit.

Awaz released three albums. The first album was the self titled album "Awaz", more commonly known as "Awaz 1". The second album was "Jadu Ka Chiraagh" and the third and last album was "Shola".

Faakhir and Haroon have successful solo careers while Asad Ahmad band Karavan is also famous in Pakistan, but they are accused of not giving time to their band. Karavan's last album was released in 2002, while Faakhir and Haroon have recently released two new hit albums in the market. Read more on Last.fm.
