Baby Come Home Lyrics

I got the, aww
I got them love sick blues ya'll
Man, I can't find my baby
I think she took off with another man
I been around the world looking twiceYou know I checked in New York City
On the streets and on the subways
And I looked around that tired town
To find the one who loved meI looked out in the Hamptons
Thought she'd be hangin' with them rich folks
But no she wasn't anywhere
Hangin' on the East CoastI wish my baby come home
I want my baby come home
I wish my baby come home
I want my baby, yeah my baby
To come back home
Man, you know I love that girlI checked down to the Southern plains
From Alabama to Georgia
Honey if you hear this

Please know I'm looking for yaI checked with all my rebel friends
I've looked around for weeks
And I swear until I find her
I won't eat and I won't sleepI want my baby come home
I want my baby come home
I want my baby come home
I wish my baby, yeah my baby
Would come back homeI went from Albuquerque to Maine
And didn't find a damn thingSo I looked in California
Up and down the coast
I looked all over Hollywood
It wasn't even closeNever found nothin'
So, I came home, home to Detroit City
And there she was sittin' on my porch
The baby looked so prettyNow my baby's back home
Yea my baby came home
Yea my baby's back home
I'm so happy that my baby
Is finally home

Kid Rock (born Robert James Ritchie on January 17, 1971), is an American singer-songwriter and rapper from Detroit with five Grammy Award nominations. Kid Rock is known for music that incorporates elements of hip-hop, rap metal, blues-rock, hard rock, southern rock, funk and country.

Kid Rock released several studio albums from 1988 that mostly went unnoticed before his 1998 record 'Devil Without a Cause', released with Atlantic Records, sold 11 million albums behind the hits, "Bawitdaba","Cowboy," and "Only God Knows Why". In 2000, he released The History of Rock which was a compilation of remixed and remastered versions of songs from his previous albums as well as the hit single, "American Bad Ass". In 2001, he released the follow up, Cocky. After a slow start, his country-flavored hit "Picture" with Sheryl Crow resurrected the album and it went gold as a single and pushed the album's sales to more than 5 million. It was followed by 2003's self-titled release, which failed to chart a major hit. In 2006 he released Live Trucker , a live album. In 2007 Kid Rock released Rock N Roll Jesus, which produced a hit in "All Summer Long." It was his first worldwide smash hit, charting #1 in eight countries across Europe and Australia. Rock N Roll Jesus would go on to sell 5 million albums worldwide including being certified triple platinum in the US.

He has sold 22 million albums to date in the United States, which currently ranks him as the 99th best selling music artist of all time in the U.S.
