Baby Please Lyrics

She's a long, tall, skinny-minny
Never says a word, but she knows
She never tells me why
She's clever and she lets it showShe's an all around, bawdy-clawdy
Everyday collector of dreams
But she never tells me why
She's clever and she loves to pleaseStay, baby, stay
Play, baby, play
Won't you please? She's the old soul of rock 'n' roll
She's every kind of woman you see
She never tells me how
She's so clever as she has to beShe's an all night, treat me right
Answer to my lonely day
She never tells me why
She's clever and she always playsStay, baby, stay
Play, baby, play
Won't you please?Yeah, oh yeah
StayStay, baby, stay

Play, baby, play
Won't you please?
Please

Badfinger was a rock/pop (or "power pop") band that orginated in mid-60s pop bands around Swansea, Wales. Adopting the name Badfinger in 1969, the band was touted as the 'heir apparent' to The Beatles, in part because of their close working relationship with the "Fab Four." Badfinger's meteoric rise and demise (marked by the suicides of founder-member and leader Peter Ham on 24 April 1975, and later of band-member Tom Evans on November 19, 1983) remains a cautionary tale for the rock music industry.
