Babylon (Live, 1973) Lyrics

OohOh, Babylon
She sings the sweetest song
Oh, but there's something wrong, something very wrong
That's wrong in her heartYeah, Babylon
Now all your love is gone
And it won't be long, it won't be very long
Before it's all apartYeah, baby
Oh, babyYour house in flames
Well, it's the final shame
But the only pain, the only pain
It goes straight to your heart
It goes straight to your heartOh, baby
Oh, babyBut when I'm feeling lazy
Oh, you're such a fiery lady
Ooh, you almost make me crazyYeah, Babylon
Now all the lines are drawn
Do you know which side to be on
Before it all starts?Hey, Babylon

She sings the sweetest song
Oh, but there's something wrong, there's something very wrong
That's wrong in her heart, oh yeahOh, baby
Oh, babyComing down to the final hour
Looking out from an ivory tower
Has it gone beyond your power, Babylon?
All the time you been betraying
Do you see your children straying?
I can't afford the price you're paying, BabylonHey, baby
Oh, baby
Oh, baby
