Baby's Got A Gun Lyrics

(S.DAY)
Well my Baby's got a gun, and I am so afraid,
thats she's gonna use it, and take me to my grave.
She told me that she loved me,
but now she's changed her mind,
she makes me think of murder,
but Im not the killing kind.
Yeah, I love her so.
Yeah, I've got to let her know.
Well I wait for her all day, she's always having fun,
I'll wait untill tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes.
Baby's got a switchblade,
and she's always in strife,
she tells me that she'll cut me up,
as I'm running for my life.
Yeah, I love her so.
Yeah, I've got to let her know.
I love my baby, and I hope that she loves me.

I love my baby, and its true O can't you see.
She's the only one in my life,
and I've got to let her know.
Well my Baby's got a gun, and I an in love,
even though she looks so mean she is my turtle dove.
She chases me all day,
sometimes we hold hands,
When she hits she kisses me.
O aint love Grand.
Yeah, I love her so.
Yeah, I've got to let her know.

Ratcat were an Australian indie rock band of the late 1980s and early 1990s fronted by Simon Day. Their combination of indie pop songwriting and energetic punk-style guitar won them fans from both the indie and skate-punk communities. Ratcat formed in 1986 in Sydney and were a mainstay of that city's live music scene until they were eventually signed to Waterfront Records where they released a self-titled EP, several singles ("I Think I Love You", "Baby's Got A Gun") and their debut album, This Nightmare in 1989. Another EP, Killing Joke, and another single, "Saying Goodbye" followed.
