Back Door Man Lyrics

Oh, yeah, ma
Yeah, I'm a back door man
I'm a back door man
The men don't know
But the little girl understandHey, all you people that trying to sleep
I'm out to make it with my midnight dream, yeah
'Coz I'm a back door man
The men don't know
But the little girls understand
All right, yeahYou men eat your dinner
Eat your pork and beans
I eat more chicken any man ever seen, yeah, yeah
I'm a back door man
The men don't know
But the little girl understandWell, I'm a back door man
I'm a back door man
Oh, baby, I'm a back door man
The men don't know

But the little girls understand

Dudley Taft grew up in a country called the "Midwest", where he learned the values of friendship, roots blues, rock 'n' roll and a good ear of corn. Local guitar hero Rob Swaynie in Indianapolis taught Dudley the value of music theory interspersed with B.B King, Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top riffs. By the time Dudley headed for his tour of duty at the Taft School in Conneticut, named after his great-grand uncle President William Taft, music was already in his blood. Most Taft's go on to be politicians, lawyers and businessmen but Dudley knew what he wanted to do.
