Back Down to Zero Lyrics

Written by L. Winstanley / S. RobsonSat on a rainy day
Recalling a conversation
Didn't I hear you say
Nothing could keep us apart?
Nothing could stop us now, yeah yeah
Why do you put on me?
Seems your good intentions
Are blowing in the breeze
Each time we're close to the top
We hit rockChorus
Back down to zero
Just how low can we go?
I ain't gonna stick around
For you to bring me down
Gotta let it go
If it ain't real
I ain't dealin' with
Love on the flipside now

Yeah yeahNo place you'd rather be
Is all you can say as you
Open the door to leave
Me one more time wonderin' why
On one more lonely night, yeah yeah
Maybe I put on you
Seems my good intentions
I just can't see them through
Each time we climb to the top
Then we drop & we're in a crazy situation
Caught up in a habit we just gotta let go
No more going back

Hear'Say had their 15 minutes of fame as a result of winning the ITV's "Popstars" reality TV talent show in February 2001. After an album and a few singles, Kym Marsh left the band in early 2002 for a solo career. She was replaced by Johnny Shentall, but he failed to inspire. The band split at the end of 2002 as a result of some spiteful negative publicity in the UK tabloid press.
The following year Myleene Klass started doing TV presenting and has released an album of classical piano music. She has also become a high profile model for Marks & Spencer.
Kym Marsh's solo career was unsuccessful but she subsequently joined the cast of UK soap opera 'Coronation Street' and remains a major character in the show.
Suzanne Shaw starred in the stage version of 'Grease' before winning ITV's 'Dancing on Ice.' She recently starred in 'Chicago' in London's West End and now has a major role in UK soap Emmerdale.
