Back in the Saddle Again Lyrics

I'm back in the saddle againOut where a friend is a friendWhere the long-horn cattle feed
On the lonely jimson weed
Back in the saddle againI'm riding the range once moreTotin' my old 44Where you sleep out every nightAnd the only law is rightBack in the saddle againWhoopee-ti-yi-yo, rockin' to and froBack in the saddle again (once again)Whoopee-ti-yi-yae, I go my wayBack in the saddle againI'm back in the saddle again (once again)Out where a friend is a friend (good ol' friend)Where the long-horn cattle feedOn the lonely jimson weed (mmm-hmm)
Back in the saddle again (once again)
I'm riding the range once more (once more)And the only law is right
Totin' my old 44 (that 44)Where you sleep out every nightBack in the saddle againWhoopee-ti-yi-yo, rockin' to and froBack in the saddle again (once again)
Whoopee-ti-yi-yae, I go my wayBack in the saddle againBack in the saddle again

Nickel Creek was an American progressive acoustic music trio consisting of Chris Thile (mandolin), Sara Watkins (fiddle) and Sean Watkins (guitar). The band was founded in 1989 and released six albums between 1993 and 2006, winning a 2003 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Nickel Creek disbanded in 2007. The two families, the Watkinses and the Thiles, met after Sean Watkins and Chris Thile had mandolin lessons with the same music instructor, John Moore. Sara Watkins studied with Moore's bandmate, Dennis Caplinger.
