Back to Schooldays Lyrics

Dont seem to be no break in the line
Dont seem to be no break boys
They ruined my vision screwed up my eyes
Ill tell you what Im gonna do boysIm going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them rightThey tell me that it was like a film out here
But its a real horror show boys
They told me that it was all black and white
Theres so many shades I can see boysIm going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them rightAint nobody wants to know you when youre down
And everybody wants to lose you when youre foundNow, if I think I might break even
I might go home quietly
Ill marry a rich girl but otherwise
Im going to raise hell and rightlyIm going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them rightShake it, whew!
Yeah, thats all rightNow, if I seem just a might confused

Dont give me all of the blame boys
Twenty-four years just obeying the rules
No wonder Im half-insane boysIm going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them rightYeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Im going back to schooldays
Im a-going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them rightIm going back to schooldays
Im a-going back to schooldays
Im going back to schooldays to put them right
To put them right, yeah, to put them right, huh

Rockpile was a British rock group founded in 1976. It consisted of Dave Edmunds (vocals, guitar), Nick Lowe (vocals, bass guitar), Billy Bremner (vocals, guitar) and Terry Williams (drums) and was noted for strong rockabilly and power pop influences. Formed by Nick Lowe and Dave Edmunds, the band took its name from the title of a 1972 Dave Edmunds album. The band was primarily known as a backup group to most of Lowe's and Edmunds' solo projects. However, they did release one album (Seconds of Pleasure) in 1980, which spawned the minor hit "Teacher Teacher".
