Back to the Palace Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
My brain's on fire, my brain's on drugs
Call up my guard to fill my cup
I feel so lost, I'm so alone
Here in my room, come fill me up"The door is locked, you can't get out"
Said the voice of malice
Here I am, trapped inside
Under glass, the fun palaceCreepy crawlers, sidewalk maulers
Have you met our little Alice?
Cobweb corners, prepaid mourners
Won't you come back to the palace? When I look through the glass

I see them dancing in the dark
There's one now, oh can't you see the eyes of fire?
Watch out for sparksWhat in hell is it they want
And can they get behind my wall?
Can you hear, hear it creep?
Coming closer, hear it callCreepy crawlers, sidewalk maulers
Have you met our little Alice?
Cobweb corners, prepaid mourners
Welcome back to the palaceCreepy crawlers, sidewalk maulers
Have you met our little Alice?
Cobweb corners, prepaid mourners
Welcome back to the palaceWelcome back to the palace
Welcome back to the palace
Welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back to the palaceWell, I'm out the door
And I'm heading for the wall
Deep into the night
Please God, don't let me fallI hear the bark of the dogs
I gotta make my choices
Search lights getting brighter
Please don't let them take my voices awayThe pictures of, deep in my mind
The memories that can kill
I lick the wounds, they can't be cleansed
Because they won't, won't hold stillAnd I scream in agony
I feel the flesh tearing off me
Oh help me please, it's hide and seek
The secret found in therapyCreepy crawlers, sidewalk maulers
Have you met our little Alice?
Cobweb corners, prepaid mourners
You're now back in the palaceCreepy crawlers, sidewalk maulers
Have you met our little Alice?
Cobweb corners, prepaid mourners
You're now back in the palace

Annihilator is a thrash metal band founded by Jeff Waters in Ottawa, Canada in 1984. Along with singer John Bates, the original line-up was complete when drummer Paul Malek and bassist Dave Scott (Richer) joined the band.
Bates and Scott decided to leave the following year citing artistic differences and personality conflicts. Waters relocated to Vancouver where he assembled a whole new line-up, including former D.O.A. member Randy Rampage. Waters has continued to shuffle the line-up, including singers, throughout the band's history.
