Bad Boy/Having a Party Lyrics

Oh yeah, well alright
Oh yeah, well alright
Oh yeah, well alright
Oh yeah, well alrightRoll back the rug everybody
Move all the tables and chairs
We're gonna have us
A good time tonightEvery time that we meet
We skip and we dip to the beat, yeah, yeah
What in the world could be
Better than getting together, yeahThe last time we had a party
It ended when the sun came up
That's why your mama told you
That you couldn't go out, stay in the houseBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her window
'Cause he sure wants to get out and danceEveryone's here, let 'em all in
The chandelier downstairs has fallen
I know it's hard to resist

This is the party no one wanted to missBut if you don't get home on the double, boy
You're going to be in trouble
I hope your mama don't look in your room
'Cause if she does, she'll be here soonBoy, she's gonna be mad
You're a bad boy and you've got it bad boy
Boy, say goodbye to your friends
'Cause it's gonna be a while 'til you see them againBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her window
'Cause he sure wants to get out and dance'Cause everybody's swingin'
Dancin' to the music on the radio
Having a party'Cause everybody's swingin'
Dancin' to the music on the radio
No, no, no you can't goBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her window
'Cause he sure wants to get out and danceEverybody's swingin'
Dancin' to the music on the radio
Having a partyEverybody's swingin'
Dancin' to the music on the radio
No, no, no you can't goBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her windowBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her window
Tip by her windowBad boy
He's gonna sneak out tonight
He's gonna tip by her window
Tip by her window

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005) was an american soul and rnb singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House Is Not A Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never Too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If Only For One Night", "Here And Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
