Candido Fabre began singing in the Charanga orchestra "La Original de Manzanillo", and is known as a supremely gifted and talented improviser or "sonero" (improviser), able to create a son from any given situation or expression. Candido Fabre was the songwriter, arranger and main vocalist with the Orquesta Original de Manzanillo in the 80's before forming his own band Candido Fabre Y Su Banda in 1993.
