Ballad of Jane (Rerecorded) Lyrics

She was always something special
A diamond shining bright in the rain
Everybody dreams of angels
No one will ever know how much I loved you soNow it all seems funny
Kinda like a dream
Things ain't always what they seem
What a shame, what happened to JaneYou were always on my mind
A childlike summer days in the sun
Slowly wishes turn to sadness
Time don't heal a broken gunI wish I'd never let you go
Hear me now, 'cause I want ya to knowNow it all seems funny
Kinda like a dream
Things ain't always what they seem
What a shame, what happened to JaneNow she's breakin' hearts in heaven
Shining bright in the sky
I still hear her voice in the wind
I still think of you in the nightWell, I guess she'll never know
How much I need her soNow it all seems funny

Kinda like a dream
Things ain't always what they seem
What a shame, what happened to Jane

L.A. Guns is the name of two glam metal groups from Los Angeles, California. One group is led by Guitarist Tracii Guns while the other version is led by Vocalist Phil Lewis & Drummer Steve Riley. The group was initially formed in 1983 and was composed of guitarist Tracii Guns, singer Axl Rose (who left to form Hollywood Rose and was replaced by Michael Jagosz), bassist Ole Beich and drummer Rob Gardner. The group disbanded in 1984 when Tracii Guns and Axl Rose decided to merge both L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose to form the first lineup of Guns N' Roses.
