Basement Money Lyrics

Let's make a cold idea warm in the back of the basement
Let's make a cold idea form in the back of our head
I spent a lot of days, lot of days with you
By now we got a taste of what a doublemind can doWe wait
We don't give up
We wait
We don't give upLight it up, light it up to burn it down
Temporary's not my style
I draw them in and spit them out
Do what I've always done, always done with you
By now we got a taste of what a doublemind can doWe wait
We don't give up
We wait
We don't give upMoney, we don't need it
Money's raining down upon us
Oh the playing gets steady
Instead of pining for a moment of restSo we wait
We don't give up

We wait
We don't give upI've never waited on a quarterless drought
I've never waited for the numbers to be randomly drawn
But I remember selling out
But I had to make a fun living somehowI make a living for now
Make a living for now
Make a living somehowMoney, we don't need it
For the money's raining down
The playing gets steady
Instead of pining for a moment of restThe money, we don't need it
The money's raining down up on us
The playing gets steady
Instead of pining for a moment of restSo we wait
We don't give up
We wait
We don't give up
We wait
