Basketball Lyrics

They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
Now basketball is my favorite sport
I like the way they dribble up and down the court
I keep it so fresh on the microphone
I like no interruption when the game is on
I like slam dunks that take me to the hoop
My favorite play is the ally-oop
I like the pick-n-roll, I like the give-n-go
And it's basketball, Bow Wow, let's go
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball

They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
I got the rock in my hands
There ain't no tellin' what I'm gonna do wit it
When I got possession, I'm gonna have to fool wit it
I might cross you up and fake one way
Turn around and hit you wit the MJ fade-away
I throwin' down passes like J-Kidd
Takin' cats to the rack and I'm dunkin' over 'em like T-Mac
When I'm in the paint, I play wit that Alonzo style
I'm like Darius, 'cuz I can shoot two miles
Don't too many players get offers like me
I'm back-n-forth likely
Shake the cheks off your Nike's
They almost had me in a suit at the draft
'Cuz it look like a free throw
When I be shootin' from half
The first step like Iverson, blow pass you
He'll leave nottin' but net, but I can go blast too
When I'm in the paint the defense so shook
They don't know if I'm gonna put up a slow hook
Or dish up a no look
See my game consist of a whole lotta moves
You would think I learned from the Harlem Globe Trotters
JD gonna lead us to the ring
Fab and Bow Wow is the only players
That makes the cheerleaders wanna sing
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
(Now, now, now)
Now tell me were you in the joint?
The night MJ scored 63 points
When the Lakers won titles back to back
Didn't give nobody no kind of slack
When Vince Carter came and stuck his arm in the rim
Everybody went crazy in the whole dang gym
Dikembe Mutumbo standin' tall
Playin' D wit desire, it's basketball, sing
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball
They're playing basketball
We love that basketball

There are two artists with the name Bow Wow, for the Japanese hard rock/heavy metal act (see Bow Wow)

1. Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio), better known by his stage name Bow Wow, is an American rapper and actor signed to Cash Money Records. He started rapping in 1993 and was noticed by rapper Snoop Dogg, who gave him his stage name then signed him to Death Row Records, and in 1998, at the age of eleven, Bow Wow was introduced to record producer Jermaine Dupri, who has since helped shape his career. He has since released six albums, including a collaboration album with good friend Omarion, Face Off. His seventh studio album, The Transition Of Shad Moss, will be released in 2010.

2. Bow Wow (バウワウ) - Legendary heavy metal act from Tokyo, Japan. Led by guitarist/vocalist Kyoji Yamamoto (山本恭司), the band formed in 1975. Started out as a melodic classic/hard rock band in the mid 'til late 70's, they quickly made a name for themselves and were touring with popular acts of the time, such as Kiss and Aerosmith. Yamamoto proved himself early on as an accomplished guitarist developing the "hammer technique" long before Eddie Van Halen made it popular. In the early 80's Bow Wow changed their sound to a energetic heavy metal sound, fueled with powerful guitar riffs and fast-driven baselines. Spreading their wings internationally, Bow Wow played the Reading festival in Britain and the world famous Montreux Jazz festival in 1982. To capitalize on this venture, Roadrunner Records released the "Asian Volcano" album across Europe. Their presence would be felt on the continent still further with the licensed releases of "Warning From Stardust" in September 1982 on the Heavy Metal label and "Holy Expedition" through Roadrunner in July 1983. Both of these records drew significant media praise, initiating the start of considerable fan support in the Western world. Later on, in 1984, when they changed their band name to Vow Wow, they also changed the line-up and style to a more melodic and commercial side. Please change your tags to Bow Wow.

Members:
Kyoji Yamamoto (山本恭司) - vocal & lead guitar
Mitsuhiro Saito (斎藤光浩) - vocal & guitar
