Batteries (Remix) Lyrics

(Da-da-da, da-da-da, da-da-da-da)
This is the one and only, Trina, yeah
(Da-da-da, da-da-da, da-da-da-da)
Ginuwine, yeah, what up, [Incomprehensible]?
You ready for this?
Some of them dancin'
Some of them drinkin'
Everybody like, "What's up?"
Muse like a party
Girls dress naughty
Got them homies like, "What's up?"
They wanna take 'em out like a pitcher
Shawty over there movin' like a stripper
But she ain't the one that I'm tryin' to get
'Cause I'm thinkin' that she might be easy
I'm lookin' for a new type
Some that be like
I ain't 'bout leave with you

So I can give her this pimpin'
Girl, what you trippin'
Tell me what you 'bout to do?
She told she about to go home
But first she gotta stop by the store
She needed double-A's for a new device
So I looked that her and said, girl
Girl, put your money away
(Let me give you batteries)
I'll be on double A's
(I'll give you batteries)
When you're screamin' my name
(Let me give you batteries)
Just put your toys away
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries)
Goin', goin' goin', goin'
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries, give you batteries)
I can do it so good
You can call me oak wood
Beat it like a triple ex star
I run like a marathon
Make you wanna tell your mom
Mama, he the best by far
Have you comin' back for more
All you gotta do is open up the door
I'll deliver the goods like a postal man
All you gotta do is give me that address
A double shot of hand is
All you gotta give me
I'mma make it do what it do
So what it's gonna be
Babe, is you leavin' with me
Baby-girl, what you tryna do?
She said that she don't wanna be alone
I think that she's about to take me home
Next time you run into a lonely girl
Just look at her and say, yeah
Girl, put your money away
(Let me give you batteries)
I'll be on double A's
(I'll give you batteries)
When you're screamin' my name
(Let me give you batteries)
Just put your toys away
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries)
Goin', goin' goin', goin'
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries, give you batteries)
Energizer bunny, you ready to get aside?
Can you keep up, well, let me take you for a ride
Introduce my waterfall, while I climb on top
Make sure you charge that 'cause I don't wanna feel it stop
Go all night, go on and on and on
Travis Parker get 'em drums hit me till you make the song
Make me do the shake, tell me how I taste
Guinness World Record, how much [Incomprehensible] can you play?
Cut it like a steak, make me sweat till I faint
The bedroom's a sauna and make me lose weight
500 degrees, whistling, coming at my body
If you a G, be a G, you gotta hit the G-spot
Girl, put your money away
(Let me give you batteries)
I'll be on double A's
(I'll give you batteries)
When you're screamin' my name
(Let me give you batteries)
Just put your toys away
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries)
Goin', goin' goin', goin'
(Give you batteries)
Girl, I'm gonna be goin', goin' goin', goin'
(I can give you batteries)
Goin'

Elgin Baylor Lumpkin better known by his stage name Ginuwine is an American singer and performer. Signed to Epic Records since the mid-1990s, Ginuwine has released a number of multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles, becoming one of R&B's top artists during the 1990s heyday of hip-hop soul.

Ginuwine can be spotted in one of Jodeci's videos. There, he met rapper Missy Elliott and producer "Timbaland", who became his main collaborators through the 1990s. Ginuwine's first single, the 1996 " Pony" from Ginuwine...The Bachelor, showcased his smooth vocals and Timbaland's innovative production style, and the two became a hit-making duo.

After his second album, 100% Ginuwine, released in 1999, Ginuwine and Timbaland grew apart, and producers such as R. Kelly have crafted hits for him since then. In 2001, Ginuwine had a number-four hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with the single " Differences", which also peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. In 2002, Ginuwine was a feature artist on P. Diddy's number-one hit "I Need a Girl (Part II)".

Ginuwine's fifth album, Back II Da Basics, was released on November 15, 2005. The album debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200, selling close to 100,000 copies. Ginuwine stated on BET's Top 100 countdown that the album went Gold with sales of 500,000 copies.

In May 2007, an album entitled I Apologize was released in stores. Although attributed to Ginuwine, the release was an unauthorized album and only included three Ginuwine songs - apparently from stolen masters - and ten songs by other artists. Ginuwine spoke against the unofficial release on both his MySpace page and through YouTube.

Ginuwine's sixth album entitled A Man's Thoughts, was released on June 23, 2009. Ginuwine formed a group with Tank and Tyrese named TGT. Their first single was a remix of Tank's "Please Don't Go". They were supposed to tour but plans fell apart due to conflicting schedules.

Ginuwine announced on his Myspace Blog on August 21, 2008 that due to label and legal issues they will not be able to release an official TGT album. Ginuwine is the founder and CEO of LoveSong Incorporated, after completing his contract with 550 Music/Epic. Ginuwine announced on his Myspace blog on August 21, 2008 that he signed a major label deal with Notifi Records/Warner Brothers.
