Be Your Own Best Friend Lyrics

It'll sneak up on you one day
and you'll finally realize
there ain't no games for you to play
and there's no place you can hide
your up against the wall
can't nobody hear you cry
you gotta help yourself yourself
or else you might as well
lay down and die
Make a move
take a step
it might hurt
it might help
it's your life
your the boss
you've already
stood the loss
And a lifetime of pretending

won't put humpty dumpty back again
let the sad times in
Reach way down
find your soul
take a look
take control
and really be who you are
don't look back
find your star
And put your faith
in the only one in whom you can depend
let your life begin
