Is a Venezuelan piano teacher and concert pianist. She studied music at the National Conservatory of Music "Juan Jose Landaeta", in Caracas, Venezuela from 1970 to 1983, where she studied piano with Beatriz Vegas (graduated from the Mannes College of Music N.Y. and former student of Mme. Vengerova). After graduation, Dr. Gil continued piano lessons in Venezuela with Harriet Serr (USA), and international visiting professors, such as Regina Smendzianka (Poland) and Walter Blackenheim (Germany).
