Being Is Bewildering Lyrics

Human being, being human
Hands free, nothing touches me
Transmit, remote, unseen, unknown
She's glad to be so very happy
We have placed your call into a queuing systemListen to the pretty music play
Let it numb your fragile systemShe had a friend to call her own
But now she spends her time alone
What of the cost of growing up?
Put me on hold to shut me upJust being is bewildering
Disconnect me from what is mine
Call waiting, waiting on the other lineAt your leisure, dear
Come get your pleasure here
I'm so glad to be so very happyAnd if you need something, anybody, anything
Just being is bewildering
Call me, dial L-O-V-E
Just being is bewildering
I'll do as I please, I won't get down on bended kneesKiss and make up, don't you hang up
Stay and play out the whole scene

Try to stay calm, how long do you hold on?
Do you dare to dream?Just being is bewildering
Just being is bewildering
Just being is bewildering
Just being is bewildering

Moloko were an Anglo-Irish trip-hop and electropop duo from Sheffield, England consisting of Róisín Murphy from Arklow, Republic of Ireland and Mark Brydon, from Sunderland, England. The band's name originates from the Nadsat slang in the novel "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess, in which it means "milk" (from the Russian word for milk, молоко). Róisín Murphy was born in Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland, and had no prior professional experience as a singer.
