Believe Lyrics

All I know is empty
And all I feel's the same
All I've got means nothing
Someone rescue me
From the lonely road that I can't leave
And the only hope is to believe...
All I am is fading
From all the same routines
All I see is failing
Someone help me breathe
Cause it's a long way up to face this
And the only hope is to believe
If there was one way out to change this
If you had one last chance, would you take it?
Always walking sideways
Always keep the pace
I've never done it my way
I just need to change

Cause it's a long way up to face this
And the only hope is to believe
If there was one way out to change it all
If you had one last chance, would you take it?
Well I've known this cage for way too long
And I feel like breaking out
And I feel like losing myself
I've lived with things that I've done wrong
And we knew it all along
Can we move on?
[Chorus]Cause I've seen the places I don't belong
And I feel like movin on
Surrounded by the paralyzed, they're too afraid to run
I won't be a slave to anyone, I won't waste away or come undone
But can we move on?
[Chorus]Cause I've known this cage for way too long
And I feel like breakin out
And I feel like losin myself
I've lived with things that I've done wrong
But we knew it all along
So can we move on?
[Chorus]So Don't look down
Don't look down
Don't look down
Don't look down

Under The Flood is a high-energy hard-hitting rock band from Central Virginia. Their dynamic sound was described by Revolver magazine as having “keen melodic interplay, regardless of whether they’re kickin’ it hard or soft.” The band provides today’s audiences with smart, but accessible rock, that appeals to even the most discriminating of taste

Formed in 2005, brothers Matt and Dave Nadolski came together to create an honest sound that would resonate with listeners from all walks of life. The duo teamed up with local bassist Kenn Davis, Kentucky-native Brandon Sidebottom, and Russell Lee, former Deepfield drummer from Charleston, SC. With an in-your-face high-energy live show and a relentless touring ethic, Under The Flood is making their stamp in the rock industry. Their debut record The Witness was produced by Brian Craddock (Daughtry), mixed by Skidd Mills (Saliva, Saving Abel), and released worldwide by Koch Records in May 2008.

Under the Flood has recently teamed up with Join or Die Records to release their highly-anticipated sophomore album Alive In The Fire, which was produced by Andy Waldeck (Earth To Andy) and Kevin Murphy (Tonic, Josh Gracin). The new Album showcases the group’s growth and maturity as a band. It sheds light on a darker side of Under the Flood while maintaining their trademark melodic sound and lyrical substance.
